Always use a damp cloth and mild soap to clean. Avoid Harsh Chemicals and Cleaners. The plastic for the pendant is durable and designed to withstand most common substances such as soap and skin lotions. However, some types of creams, lotions, or sprays which contain chemicals that may dull the finish of the housing. These include: Insect Repellents containing DEET, Sunscreen, Topical Analgesics, or any Solvent Based or Petroleum Cleaning Products.

To clear an active alarm (Figure A), Place the Black Dot on the Alarm Clearance card over the pendant button as shown in (Figure B). When the alarm is cleared, the Blue Light will flash. Shown in (Figure B).

When you notice a low battery alert for the pendant, it starts a seven day countdown. If the battery is not replaced within the first 2 days it will begin to flash yellow and will continue flashing until the battery is replaced. If the seven day countdown expires, the pendant will automatically go into storage mode. If the battery is not replaced within 2 weeks the pendant may cease to function even if a new battery is installed.
