1) First step in replacing the battery in a pendant is to have the pendant and the alarm clearance card. DO NOT USE A SCREWDRIVER.

2) Insert the rounded end of the Alarm Clearance Card into the groove on the back of thependant as shown in FIGURE A. Next, you will need to turn the battery cover counter clockwise until the black arrow lines up with the unlock symbol as shown in FIGURE B.

3) Once you have removed the battery cover, you will see the CR2032 battery as shown in (FIGURE A). Turn the pendant upside down and the battery will drop right out. (FIGURE B)

4) Once you have the new battery, drop it into the pendant PLUS SIDE UP as shown in (FIGURE C). Next, replace the battery cover, (FIGURE D) making sure to line up the arrow with the UNLOCK symbol shown in (FIGURE E). Lastly, using the Alarm Clearance Card, turn the battery cover clockwise until the arrow lines up with the LOCK symbol in (FIGURE F).

5) After you have installed the new battery, be sure to test the pendant and verify that the indicator lights are working and the pendant vibrates when the button is pressed.

6) After changing the battery, it will take 12 hours for the low battery alert from the pendant to clear in the system.
